Earth Peace Through Self Peace

Kriya Yoga Teachings

Earth Peace Through Self Peace

In times of tension, conflict, and inner unrest, the most practical place to begin is the only place we can truly govern: our own consciousness. This guided “Earth Peace Through Self Peace” meditation (as taught by Yogiraj Siddhanath) is designed to generate peace within and then radiate that peace outward—to loved ones, communities, and ultimately all beings.

A Guided Visual Meditation by Yogiraj Siddhanath

This session moves through three clear phases:

  1. Self Peace Meditation (Siddhanath Golden Lotus) – to calm emotions and awaken heartful tranquility

  2. Earth Peace Meditation – to radiate peaceful vibrations to humanity

  3. Paravasta (Samadhi / Still Mind) – to rest in thought-free awareness and receive inner healing transmission

All are welcome to practice, regardless of religion, race, or creed.

Guide For Practise

This meditation is designed to be simple, visual, and deeply experiential. You do not need prior experience—only a willingness to sit, breathe, and feel. Allow the guidance to unfold naturally, without strain or expectation.

Begin by sitting comfortably with your spine upright. If possible, face the rising sun, or simply choose a quiet space where you will not be disturbed. Sitting on a blanket or mat can help the body feel grounded and steady. Let the shoulders relax and allow the breath to become natural.

The Golden Lotus Practice

Settling into Self Peace

Gently bring your awareness to the center of your chest, the heart region. Visualize a golden lotus resting there—luminous, alive, and calm.

As the breath flows in naturally, imagine the lotus opening its petals. As the breath flows out, allow the lotus to softly close into a bud. There is no need to control the breath; simply observe it as it is.

With time, you may mentally pair the breath with the subtle mantra:

  • Inhale: Sa

  • Exhale: Ham

This pairing happens effortlessly, like watching waves rise and fall. The mind is not forced into silence—it becomes quiet because it has something gentle to rest upon. Emotional disturbances begin to dissolve as the heart center becomes calm, open, and steady.

Remain here for several minutes, simply witnessing the breath and the opening and closing of the golden lotus. This phase establishes Self Peace, which is the foundation of the entire meditation.

The Earth Peace Meditation

Expanding Peace to the Earth

When the heart feels settled and tranquil, allow the meditation to expand beyond the personal self.

Visualize the Earth before you—small enough to hold clearly in your awareness. Inhale deeply, drawing love and goodwill into the heart. As you exhale, gently radiate that love outward, often accompanied in this practice by a soft, closed-mouth vibration such as “Mmm.”

You may bring to mind people, places, or situations experiencing conflict or suffering. Without judgment or force, allow them to be bathed in compassion and peaceful intention.

This stage reflects a core teaching of Yogiraj Siddhanath: peace on Earth begins when peace is first stabilized within individual consciousness.

Paravasta

Resting in Stillness

After radiating peace, allow all techniques to gently dissolve.

Sit quietly in silence and still awareness. There is nothing to visualize or control. Thoughts may arise and fade—simply allow them to pass without engagement.

This resting state, known as Paravasta or Still Mind Consciousness, is where deeper integration occurs. The nervous system settles, awareness expands, and the mind tastes a natural quiet that arises on its own.

Remain in this stillness for as long as is comfortable.
